Vietnam to join Miss Asia Pacific


Truong Tung Lan, one of the top ten contestants of Miss Vietnam  2010, will participate in the 38th Miss Asia Pacific World pageant in  South Korea in October.
Lan, 1.70m, 83-60-80 in body measurement, graduated from the Hanoi  Open University. She is now a model and a show host. She is studying  acting skills. 
Lan is chosen by Elite Vietnam, which holds the right to send  Vietnamese representative to the Miss Asia Pacific World pageant, for  her Asian beauty and her friendliness. 
Lan will go to Korea with ao dai designed by Lan Huong and an evening  gown designed by Ivy Moda. She is also learning how to make up her face  and hair with experts. She also prepares a dance entitled “Vietnam - My  country” for the talent show.
She will go to Korea on October 1. Previously, the first runner-up of  Miss Vietnam 2010, Vu Hoang My, was invited to join the pageant but she  refused to concentrate on the Miss Universe.
This year Miss Asia Pacific World will attract over 70 contestants.  The jury will choose top 15, top 7 and finally the beauty queen and two  runners-up.
The organizing board will also present Miss Photogenic, Best in  traditional costume, Best in Korean traditional costume, Best in evening  gown, Jewelry Queen, Miss Sea, Miss Talent, Miss Dancing and Miss  Congeniality.
The final night will take place at the Busan Yacht Center’s outdoor stage, with 8,000 seats in Busan.
